IIHSA Research Projects
The IIHSA currently runs a number of archaeological projects: the Kephalonia Livatho Valley Survey (LVS); the Priniatikos Pyrgos, Crete excavation; the Kea Archaeological Research Survey (KARS); the Kotroni Archaeological Survey project (KASP); the East Cretan Peak Sanctuaries project (ECPSP).
As well as initiating a series of significant publications for the IIHSA, these projects maximise opportunities for younger Irish scholars to gain the practical experience of archaeological fieldwork and museum study, and to participate in research and publication.
