Apply For Membership
Membership of the IIHSA is open to anyone researching, studying, or teaching subjects connected with any aspect of Greek studies.
The current membership rates are as follows:
Regular Member: €30
Student / Pensioner / Unemployed: €20
Benefits:
Advice on research/study in Greece from the IIHSA Athens staff
Apply for study permits from the Greek Archaeological Service through the IIHSA
Apply for a free entry pass for Greek museums and sites
Use the libraries of other Foreign Institutes in Athens and of the Greek Archaeological Society.
Use of the IIHSA facilities in Athens
Become A Member for Life
Life Membership includes all of the above benefits, and includes:
2 ‘free’ one-year student memberships for Irish Students.

Museum Cards
To obtain the free entrance card, members are required to renew their membership each year for the 3 following years.
To get the free entry card apply after you have purchased your membership:
send an email with your headshot (simple) to the Ass. Director at irishinstitutegr@gmail.com.
Please apply at least two months in advance to ensure you receive it in time.
Once the card is ready, the IIHSA will contact you to collect your card at our premises or it will be sent by post on request. Please note that there is an additional cost of 3 Euros if you wish to have the card sent by post
Become A Supporter
If you are not actively involved in Greek studies but would like to support the work of the Institute you can do so by becoming a Supporter and donate to the Institute. The donation portal can be found here
